As a mother of three kids I know how difficult it can be to match the needs of our little ones with the desire to fully live and experience a relaxed wine tasting, a city sightseeing, or an informative activity during holidays. From more-than-10-years’ experience traveling with kids I’ve created my Family Fun Tours, where all the family members can get the most of their day, live unique adventures, and have great memories of the Langhe Hills holiday.

FAMILY FUN BAROLO TOUR

Envoy a perfect Barolo wine tasting in a kids-friendly winery while your little ones are hunting strange small creatures in the cellar and playing with wine-related wooden toys. After a nice walk in a small village we will have lunch in a kids-friendly traditional restaurant. During the afternoon we will enjoy a light hiking in the vineyards or visit the children-friendly intercative WIMU, Wine Museum, in Barolo. A perfect Barolo day for your family!

FAMILY FUN TRUFFLE HUNT

Can you imagine how fun it is to follow an authentic “frilolao” (truffle hunter) and his trained dog in a real truffle hunt in the woods listen to his stories about this centuries-old tradition?

The kids will learn about the trees, the truffle varieties, the tricks for the perfect dog-training and the very special master-dog talk. The grown-ups will have hints about how to select the perfect truffle at the restaurant. Join this Family Fun truffle hunt if you are looking for a special adventure and lifelong memories.

FAMILY FUN CHEESE TOUR

We will visit a happy goat or sheep farm lost in the country, learn about the Piedmont traditional cheese making and taste some artisanal cheese paired with honey, jam. Then we will enjoy a nice lunch in family friendly restaurant, a nice walk with gelato tasting, of course!

WALK IN THE VINEYARDS

Kids adore outdoor activities! Join this high-nature contact tour and live a full immersion in the Nebbiolo vineyards, stunning landscape and pure air of the Barolo hills. During the relaxing walk in the vineyards and small hamlets we will touch by hand the vines life and discover local secrets and listen to incredible stories. After the walk, lunch in a kids-friendly restaurant followed by a gelato tasting!

WINE MUSEUM and Chocolate/Gelato tasting

Italy’s most innovative wine museum, as well as one of the world’s most important. Created from the imagination of François Confino, a designer of displays and installations in worldwide museums, the Barolo Wine Museum is an interactive voyage through culture and wine traditions. It plays on the millennia old beverage as a cultural product that is able to trace the evolution of entire civilizations, influence great artistic expression, and shape territories and their people. The museum interactive and kids-friendly visit is structured like a descent into the deep history and culture of wine. Kids will enjoy the highly interactive play-set with the grown-ups will live an intense and educative experience in the world of Piemonte wine and beyond. A gelato tasting will in an historical cafè will follow.
